The Children's Museum is following guidelines
from the Centers for Disease Control
for H1N1 Flu safety.

The Children's Museum is committed to providing you and your family with a clean and safe environment to learn and play. The Museum follows strict internal cleaning procedures and adheres to all safety guidelines issued by the Center for Disease Control concerning the H1N1 virus (swine flu). Here are a few of the precautions we are taking to help prevent the spread of the H1N1 virus and other illnesses:

Regular cleaning of all toys and surfaces in gallery spaces
Frequent disinfection of high-touch surfaces, such as door knobs, elevator buttons,
          hand rails and light switches
Hourly cleaning of restrooms (more frequent cleaning of restrooms on higher attendance days)
Daily disinfection and weekly laundering of costumes
Immediate bio clean-up using a virucidal disinfectant
Increased number of hand-sanitizing stations throughout the museum for visitor use

If new guidelines are issued by the CDC, we will immediately
integrate them into our daily cleaning process.
